AULIA Preschool’s Grand Adventure: Yogyakarta, Here We Come!

At the crack of dawn, exactly at 5:30 AM, the event coordination team was already on the move toward the breakfast area. But this morning came with an unexpected surprise! Since the hotel’s main restaurant was under renovation, the hotel offered something special instead — a “Garden Party” style breakfast! Hooray! 🌿✨

Tables were neatly arranged in the lush hotel garden, adorned with crisp white tablecloths and charmingly set cutlery. The cool morning air, dewdrops on the leaves, and the soft rise of sunlight created a breakfast atmosphere that felt like a European garden party. The children were delighted, and parents quickly reached for their phones to capture the moment — after all, how often do you get to enjoy an outdoor breakfast with such a dreamy vibe?

As for the menu — it was anything but ordinary. Fragrant fried rice, fresh sautéed vegetables, and spicy tuna were served from the start. There was also warm chicken porridge, rich peanut-sauce ketoprak, and an aromatic chicken soup that made mouths water. A full range of bread, fruits, and warm beverages was also readily available.

But behind all that deliciousness was a humorous sight from the committee team. Some of them, who had only slept for three hours, with slightly red eyes and slow steps, went for the simplest menu: a bowl of cereal and cold milk. “Just something quick and easy,” they said — to save time and brainpower. Still, their spirit remained at 100%, because they knew: the main event was about to begin!
