AULIA Preschool’s Grand Adventure: Yogyakarta, Here We Come!

While the participants were enjoying their Saturday night at Malioboro — filled with laughter, souvenir shopping, and street food adventures — a very different scene was happening behind the curtain. The internal AULIA organizing team didn’t join in the city’s vibrant nightlife. Instead, they chose to return to the hotel early, bringing along a stack of task lists, event scripts, and unfinished decoration items.

Behind the closed doors of the hotel hall, you could hear chairs being dragged, equipment being re-counted, and projectors being tested one last time. They worked quietly but with full spirit, making sure that everything prepared in advance would run smoothly in the morning. There were even funny moments — like misplacing the graduation certificates (only to find them the next morning!), or syncing up slide formats while half-asleep. 😅

The clock struck 3:00 AM when everything was finally ready. Yes, a real 3 AM. Some committee members only managed to lay their heads on a pillow after checking the final task off the list. But it was at that point that the true spirit of AULIA shone brightest. Despite the fatigue and drowsiness, their faces still radiated pride — because they knew that the upcoming #AULIAFamilyGathering & #AULIAFarewellParty wasn’t just another event. It was the culmination of a year-long journey of learning, bonding, and gratitude.

Morning was just around the corner, and the surprise was almost ready to unfold.
