The 2025/2026 academic year #GrowingFurther has reached the end of the first semester. After nearly six months of learning activities within the school environment, it was time for students, teachers, and all parents to take part in a shared activity outside the classroom. On this occasion, the event titled AULIA Goes to Sumber Gempong was held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Sumber Gempong Rice Field Tourism. This location was chosen for its lush and refreshing natural atmosphere, far from the bustle of city life, while still being easily accessible from Mojokerto city center.
Sumber Gempong offers a landscape of rice fields, green grass, stone pathways, and wet and muddy areas that are rich in sensory stimulation. This environment serves as an ideal learning space for children while also providing a refreshing retreat for parents who are accustomed to busy urban routines.
The main objective of this activity is to provide rapid stimulation for the development of children’s gross and fine motor skills through direct interaction with a variety of environments, including walking on grass, stepping over stones, and playing in both wet and dry areas. Children are encouraged to experience natural textures firsthand in a safe and guided manner.
In addition, this activity was also designed as a refreshing experience for parents. Enjoying the green landscapes, breathing in fresh air, and engaging in activities together became valuable moments to unwind after work routines and daily urban busyness. AULIA hopes that this activity not only provides educational benefits but also strengthens the emotional connection between the school, children, and families.
